Mayra and Jaime's City Chic Wedding!

Mayra and Jaime came to me with a vision. They wanted a cosmopolitan wedding with an organic feel. We put major emphasis on the lighting with amber uplights and a custom gobo with their names and initial. The flowers were all in shades of green and white with just a touch of pink and included cymbidium orchids and hydrangea. Curly willow embellished the tall centerpieces for a very natural yet impressive feel to the room. Candles were everywhere! The highlight of the look was the panoramic evening views of Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The reception was held on the 28th floor of the Regions Bank building at the Tower Club. South Beach Baby Shower!

Mariane, a fabulous mommy-to-be (how many 8 months preggo women do you know who wear Missoni dresses and 5 inch Louboutins?), and I were so excited to plan her baby shower. After touring many venues, we decided on the uber chic Maison d'Azur at the Hotel Astor in South Beach for the big day. We did a buy out of their beautiful garden so that her party would have complete privacy during the event. The color theme was one of my favorites, Tiffany Blue and Chocolate Brown. Satin linens covered the tables and the rectangular ones were adorned with satin table runners. Lush white florals adorned each table. A white charger plate was placed in front of each place setting adorned by a folded napkin and little tiffany teddy bear inside. We brought in renowned mixologist and James Beard award nominee Elad Zvi to create some pretty incredible cocktails for the guests including some non-alcoholic ones for any ladies who were expecting. Danya Hachey from Maison d'Azure put together an amazing amuse bouche luncheon menu for the ladies to dine on as they played some hillarious baby shower games. In true South Beach style, a house dj spun the latest lounge and club hits throughout the party. The highlight of the event was the fabulous candy and sweets table and the miniature cake favors shaped like baby blocks, baby blankets, and tiffany boxes. Lisa and Kevin's Seaside Soiree

I am thrilled to finally post pictures from Lisa and Kevin's fabulous "Ralph Lauren Nautical" inspired wedding in Miami. Lisa and Kevin wanted to do something original for their wedding, so rather then have an evening affair, they decided on a morning ceremony followed by a lavish brunch reception. The ceremony and recpetion were held seaside right near the port of Miami. Guests were entertained by a classical string trio as they dined and toasted with mimosas rather then traditional champagne. After the brunch, guests were wisked away to the Port of Miami for a 3-night cruise to the bahamas. Guests had the choice of many exciting off shore excursions to choose from during the cruise and then were all seated as a group each night for some pretty incredible dinners.
